I have worked in Public Health for 15years, I am passionate about health and wellbeing and supporting people to make a positive difference to their heath and quality of life. I specialise in exercise for people with long term health conditions and feel very fortunate to lead the Weight Management and Exercise Referral team.

As a lifestyle advisor my aim is to help people live life to the full, whether that be through supporting them with nutritional education or helping them to enjoy doing exercise.

Lindsey - Specialist Dietitian

Qualifying in 2008, my passion is to inspire and support people in achieving their unique dietetic goals, while taking responsibility for their own health. Helping to treat obesity and associated complications, I nurture understanding, dispel diet myths, encourage realistic, timely changes and formulate client led dietetic plans; underpinned by sound evidence. I love being part of my compassionate team, dedicated to excellence; and witnessing our clients steadily making progress and growing in confidence.

Fatemah (GP)

I am a GP with a special interest in weight management and obesity. I believe obesity is not a lifestyle choice caused by individual desires but a disease caused by health inequalities, genetic influences and social factors. I undertake holistic assessments for specialist weight management patients, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure best patient outcomes. 


Mark - Lifestyle Advisor

I help clients to lose weight and increase & improve their fitness and activity levels. I am qualified in Cardiac Rehab, Exercise For Stroke, Tai Chi, Postural Stability & Escape Pain for Knee and Hip Pain. t’s really satisfying seeing clients improve themselves, both physically and mentally.

Lauren - Lifestyle Advisor

I have spent much of my life involved in fitness and outdoor recreation. I have a passion for water sports and have been a coach for many years. I enjoy challenging people to reach new fitness levels and take pride in helping my clients achieve their goals. I like to explain the ‘why’s’ behind health and fitness as I feel it helps people better understand and adhere to their programmes.


Paula - Lifestyle Advisor

As a result of accessing the services our team offers, I have stopped smoking, become more active and eat healthier. I started as a Volunteer PAM (Physical Activity Mentor), which inspired me to become qualified as an Exercise To Music Instructor and I now deliver classes within the local community. As a Lifestyle Advisor I hope to be a supportive and positive influence on people within the local community who are looking to make beneficial changes to their lifestyle. I want to help people to understand the links between healthy food choices, physical activity, a healthy weight and positive mental health.

Sarah Abdula - Dietitian

I have been working as a Dietitian for 8 years predominantly specialising in Weight Management. I love supporting people to achieve their wellness goals. I enjoy working together with my clients to come up with a plan that's suits their individual needs. I support people in making small changes so they feel better and get the quality of life they deserve. My favourite part of the role is seeing clients smile when they achieve things they did not think were possible!!
