Resources Available to loan
St Helens Oral Health Improvement team have a number of accessible resources available to loan to support learning, for a wide range of ages and abilities:
- Early Years (Nurseries, baby clinics, childminding settings, Schools-foundation stage)
- Key Stage 1 & 2 and Key stage 3 & 4
- Vulnerable (Vulnerable groups, Additional Need Groups, SEND Schools)
- Care Homes (Nursing and Residential establishments)
St Helens Early Years Oral Health Resource Loan Box is available to use by any early years setting or professional community team. The resource box is supported with a role play dental chair and dental scenery if required.
The St Helens Care Home Resource Loan Box is available to use by any St Helens care home or care provider team to support with practical delivery of in-house training to staff, following their Mouth Care Matters training with the Oral Health Improvement team.
St Helens Vulnerable / SEN Schools Resource Loan Box contains a number of accessible resources and visual aids to use by any St Helens vulnerable groups to deliver an oral health session to their clients/pupils.
St Helens School Oral Health Resource Loan Box is available to use by any Key stage 1 & 2 or Key stage 3 & 4 teaching and support staff, or professional community team. The resource box contains visual aids and interactive activities and is accompanied with a PowerPoint for teaching staff to use within their own lessons. It also contains additional dental educational materials to further support learning.
