STOPTOBER IS HERE!
This year is the 10th anniversary for the STOPTOBER. The national campaign aims to reduce health inequalities caused by smoking related illness and targets all smokers to make a quit attempt for at least 28 days during October. This increases a smokers chance of quitting for good!

St Helens Smokefree staff, Vicky and Christine were out with our mobile unit in St Helens town centre to promote Stoptober. Staff spoke to 66 people who received Wellbeing Service Information and were offered brief interventions. People could sign up on the spot using our online contact form and QR code.
Staff also networked with Council staff who visited the stand to explain service offered and gave resources to promote our Wellbeing services.
