A whole school approach to wellbeing was adopted at Merton Bank Primary over a 12 month period with a number of whole school staff training, with a core group attending a train the trainer stress and anxiety course. Work was also completed with families and children to support wellbeing. The Head Teacher Mr Griffiths and Deputy Head Mrs Clarke were in full support of the wellbeing plan being rolled out through school.

To support November’s Mouth Cancer Action Month, St Helens Wellbeing team will be out and about offering advice and support at various community events and activities.

The team will be letting people know what signs and symptoms to look out for, how they can reduce their risks and the importance of regular check-ups at the dentist in protecting against this life-threatening disease.

Our Warm Welcome get on their bikes thanks to charity grant

A St Helens charity that helps refugees and asylum seekers to bring life back to old bikes so they can use them as transport, was boosted recently by a grant of £874 from City Health Care Partnership Foundation.
