Coffee and Chat Volunteer

Do you enjoy having a chat with people over a tea or coffee, helping them to connect to their community and tackle lonilness?

St Helens Wellbeing Service are recruiting volunteers to help deliver Coffee and Chats across the borough. Aiming tackle loneliness and bring communities together, these friendly and informal sessions fit in with the 5 Ways To Wellbeing.

The Coffee and Chat volunteer will help with:

  • Help set up the session, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Work alongside other volunteers to friendly session for the community
  • Support with making drinks for attendees
  • Signpost participants to relevant services to support them on their journey

What skills and qualities do I need to be a Coffee and Chat Volunteer?

  • Ability to use knowledge of services to share with attendees

Getting Active

Me and my girls have really enjoyed the class after school, it is fun for all the family to get involved in. We've learnt a lot about healthy eating and things we shouldn't be eating. It's fun and free! Really enjoyed it.
