Free Mental Health Training

This is available face to face or online for organisations, businesses, and established voluntary or community groups.

Public events and training will be advertised on Eventbrite and this will give the public the opportunity to attend as an individual.

St Helens Wellbeing service provide opportunities for training and are a non-clinical signposting service

Zero Suicide Alliance training is delivered by the St Helens Mental Wellbeing Team

Self-harm Awareness training

Recognising Self-harm in Young People: For professionals working with young people — understand self-injury, why recognising signs and symptoms matters, and explore safe ways to support those affected.

Mental Health First Aid

Training that teaches people how to recognise the signs of common mental health problems and provide initial support. It equips them to listen, reassure, and guide individuals towards professional help, without diagnosing or treating. Mental Health First Aid Refresher Training

ASIST Training

ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) is a two‑day workshop that teaches people how to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and how to intervene safely.
